The Atlanta Hawks are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night, and things got very weird on social media before the game.

​It all started when the Trail Blazers tried to start a little smack talk, but really just ended up setting themselves up:

Then the Hawks posted a video of well-known mascot "bully" and Portland center Robin Lopez fighting Harry the Hawk, with cameos by everyone from Atlanta guard Kent Bazemore to the voice of the Hawks, Steve Holman. 

The Trail Blazers were only slightly amused, and even posted their own version of the events.

The Milwaukee Bucks mascot, Bango, even let Lopez know that he's got Harry the Hawk's back.
