Big Night in the Stands

tampa-bay-coach.jpg

I say it every week when I post our Superfans gallery and I'll say it again now: The fans at sporting events are often more interesting than the game itself. Last night was another example. There was James Dolan seemingly passed out in the front row (Edit: Just kidding - he wasn't sleeping. He was reading the paper) of MSG as well as this excited Islanders fan working on his videobombing skills. But the MVP goes to this Blues fan who expertly taunted Lightning coach Jon Cooper from her seat behind the Tampa Bay bench.

The Incredible Shrinking Lineman

After suffering a season-ending injury in Week 1, Chargers center Nick Hardwick decided to focus on his overall health. Five months later, he has lost nearly 100 pounds and looks like a punter.

Big in Japan

Congrats to Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons, who was was voted "the most handsome young NBA star" by Japanese fans and received a picture of himself in a kimono to commemorate the occasion.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Points for Honesty

The Knicks are now 10-39 and dead last in the Eastern Conference, but at least Phil Jackson is aware that he's doing a terrible job. Of course, the Knicks have had a long line of False Prophets who tried to turn the team around.
