The latest person to receive a surprise interview with Kobe Bryant is longtime Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who has a no-nonsense style attitude that matches with the hyper-competitive Lakers star, which is why Bryant says he reached out, according to USA Today.

She has a reputation in her industry similar to mine, and we drive people. But I was really curious to understand how she's able to create such a culture of excellence, of glamour, in her publication and be able to do it consistently year after year after year after year after year. How is that culture created within that company, and how is it sustainable?
Wintour is no stranger to the sporting world, as she is occasionally seen courtside at New York Knicks' games and is close friends with Roger Federer.
Bryant did not mention whether his own foray into high fashion modeling came up in the exchange.
