Larry David has written a Broadway play and to promote the new show, titled Fish in The Dark, he sat down to chat with Today's Matt Lauer.

The discussion turns to David's sports fandom, and the show presents him with a helmet and jersey of his favorite team, the New York Jets, and when David attempts to put on the helmet he makes even more comedy gold.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm star eventually gets the helmet over his head after admitting he has never worn one in his life. Luckily for David, who has previously said he feels he is qualified to be the Jets offensive coordinator, Broadway stars do not require helmets.
