Michael Sam receives score of 26 out of 40 in DWTS debut

Former Missouri football player and NFL hopeful Michael Sam received a score of 26 out of 40 for his debut on Dancing with the Stars. Sam and partner Peta Murgatroyd danced the Cha Cha to "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
In the team's introductory video, Murgatroyd said Sam trains for three hours at the gym, and then dances with her for four hours.
Sam was told by the judges that his dancing with "hot" and "fun," but that he has a lot of work to do on his footwork.
Sam took to Twitter after his dance to campaign for votes
