Save the Ducks Cheerleaders

oregon-cheerleaders.jpg

This is University of Oregon Board of Trustees member Ginevra Ralph. I don't like her. Why, you ask? Because she wants to ban the Ducks cheerleading program because fans get “incredibly uncomfortable with the U of O cheerleaders and they actually leave the basketball (arena) during intermission because of the overt sexual dancing, or whatever you want to call it.”. There was a bit more nuance to her statement but you get the gist. And now that you're in the cheerleader mood, here's one from every NCAA tournament school.

Feel-Good Story of the Day

Leah Still, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma on June 2 and was given a 50/50 chance to survive, may be cancer-free. Leah became a household name when her father, Devon, made the Bengals practice squad (which gave him health insurance to help pay for Leah's treatments) and the team began selling replicas of Still's No. 75 jersey and donating the proceeds to pediatric cancer research.
