Newscaster rips Dallas Cowboys for signing Greg Hardy

Jimmy Kimmel is broadcasting his nightly show from Austin, Texas, this week as part of the South by Southwest festival, and he had Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on the show on Wednesday night.

Romo talked about losing reigning Offensive Player of the Year DeMarco Murray to the Eagles, and making a pitch to Jerry Jones a few months before to keep Murray.

The quarterback intended to fire up the troops by encouraging the owner to win now, but he lost his train of thought due to a few alcoholic beverages and accidentally ended up reminding the 72-year-old Jones of his impending mortality.

The conversation with Kimmel also turned to the Cowboys difficult playoff exit thanks to a controversial call on Dez Bryant's goal line non-catch, and whether or not Romo considers himself to be underrated.
