The Sabres won, and celebration ensued.
The Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs, the two worst teams in the NHL's Eastern Conference, played Wednesday night with little on the line except possibly Connor McDavid's future residence. But that didn't mean a rare win wasn't cause for celebration.
Buffalo, which has the worst record in the entire league, won the game 4-3 behind two third period goals. After the game, the team celebrated its win by playing "Started From The Bottom" by noted Leafs fan Drake in the locker room.

A quick review of the NHL standings finds that the Sabres are still, in fact, at the bottom. Hopefully Connor McDavid appreciates a good sense of irony?
