White Sox to offer batting helmet filled with ribs at concessions
Not wanting to be left out of the novelty concession boom currently ravaging Major League ballparks, the Chicago White Sox introduced their newest southern-themed food creation on Thursday via Twitter.
That, my friends, is ribs, fries, coleslaw, and cornbread all inside a souvenir batting helmet. Delicious, right?

Novelty concession items have become increasingly common around the big leagues as a result of teams trying to find new, creative ways to offer fans unique dietary options while attending a game.
The Arizona Diamondbacks introduced the D-bat dog in 2014 - an 18-inch corn dog filled with cheese and jalapenos on a pile of french fries. The Houston Astros will put chicken inside of a waffle cone.
But be careful what you wish for next time you're all the ball game. Some MLB concessions stands have faced scrutiny in the past for their cleanliness.
