Hot Clicks: A.J. Lee; Notable Misspelled Jerseys; Yankees fan take 1917 subway to game
Notable Misspelled Jerseys
Los Angeles Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes became the latest athlete to suffer the indignity of having a misspelled jersey when his last name was spelled with a Z (instead of S). Zardes can take comfort in the fact that 45 other athletes (by our count) also felt his pain, and here they all are in one handy gallery.
You may not be seeing that headline a lot this year (they are losing 5-0 as I write this) but the team did something really cool today. Several lucky fans who took the subway from Grand Central to Yankee Stadium rode The Nostalgia Special, an authentic subway train from 1917 (complete with ceiling fans and historic maps). Meanwhile in Chicago, fans had serious issues finding a bathroom amidst the renovations at Wrigley Field.
MLB WAG Update
Not sure if this is old news or not but have you seen Zack Wheeler's Dominique Rizzo? She makes Kate Upton look like Will Ferrell. Okay, that's an exaggeration but I needed some way to include this video of Upton and Justin Verlander.
Lovely Lady of the Day
One of my favorite WWE divas, A.J. Lee, announced her retirement. Since it's pro wrestling, I'm confident we'll see her again at some point. Nobody wears Chuck Taylors with a dress quite like her (click here for full-size gallery).
Hot Clicks Giveaway
Opening Day is here and Majestic is excited about its new Cool Base MLB jerseys. As you know, the new Cool Base jerseys use lightweight, breathable fabrics so they are comfortable all summer. There's even a women’s jersey designed with a more feminine cut. They also were kind enough to give me two jerseys to give away. I'll send them to the 100th and 200th person to email me (email@example.com) the name of the belly-flopper and UK alum whose video appears in A.M. Clicks. Please make the subject line "Majestic."
Update (6:22 a.m.): Contest closed. Another giveaway coming in P.M. Clicks. Thanks!
