Gilbert Arenas talks trash to Raptors, Bulls on Instagram

Gilbert Arenas talks smack about potential Wizards playoff opponents Raptors and Bulls in Instagram post

Gilbert Arenas' trash-talk game is in postseason form.

In an Instagram post Tuesday night, the former Wizards guard posted a picture of a John Wall uniform and called out Washington's potential playoff opponents, the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls. In his post, Arenas dissed the Canadian national anthem and threatened to turn the Bulls into bologna.

Apparently Arenas prefers Drake to "O Canada."

Arenas still considers himself a "fan" of the Wizards, whom he played for during eight of his 11 NBA seasons. From the Washington Post:

“I lived in Washington longer than I have lived anywhere else, so it’s considered home, even though I moved back to California,” Arenas said last spring. “When you grow up as a kid and as an adult — from 21 to 29 I lived in D.C. — I mean, it’s my home team. Right now I’m a fan. When you’re a fan, that’s your team. That’s us. We lose, we lost, we won. Just like any other fan.”

Agent Zero, as Arenas came to be known during his time with the Wizards, averaged 20.7 points per game in his NBA career and was selected to three All-Star games while in Washington.

The Wizards are locked into the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference. They will play the Raptors in the first round of the playoffs unless Toronto wins and Chicago loses Wednesday night, in which case the Raptors will jump the Bulls for the No. 3 seed and Washington will face Chicago.
