The new clip also has a glimpse at what appear to be the remnants of Darth Vader's mask, and brief appearance from R2-D2.

The highly anticipated film will be released on Christmas Day 2015, and will be the first in a new slate of scheduled films taking place in the Star Wars universe created by director George Lucas.
