Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is reportedly bringing pop star Ciara as his date to the White House Correspondents Dinner, according to a guest list obtained by The Washington Post.
But the 26-year-old NFL phenomenon might also have another lady on his arm in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night: his grandmother. Wilson posted on Facebook Thursday a video of him dancing with his grandmother, Carolyn, with the caption, "Can't wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma."
The guest list obtained by the Post was released by AOL, which termed the pairing as "Russell Wilson and his date Ciara."
Wilson was spotted at a Seattle Mariners game this past weekend with a woman who resembled the singer.
While Wilson and Ciara have not confirmed their romance, both are recently single. Wilson and his ex-wife Ashton Meem divorced in April 2014, and Ciara cut ties with her former fiancee, the rapper Future, late last year.
While Wilson enjoys the offseason, the Seahawks are looking to lock down the quarterback to a long-term deal.
Wilson has one year remaining on his rookie contract, but reports surfaced in January indicating the team would look to make him the highest-paid NFL quarterback before the 2015 season gets underway.
