Lance Stephenson has a 'Born Ready' mural in his home

Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson has "Born Ready" wallpaper in his home, an ode to his popular nickname.

Today in "it's great to be a professional athlete:" Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson has his nickname, "Born Ready," wallpapered onto a wall in his home, as well as a painting of himself. He's also wearing Frozen boots.

Stephenson shared the revelations in an Instagram post on Saturday captioned, "MI CASA." He's had the "Born Ready" nickname since 2006, when he starred in a game at New York's famed Rucker Park against older players while he was still in high school.

During his sophomore and junior seasons at Lincoln High in Brooklyn, N.Y., he also launched "Born Ready," a short-lived online documentary.

Even his Twitter page's location reads "BORN READY." Get the point?

Stephenson had a tough first season in Charlotte, appearing in 61 games, starting 25 and averaging 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 25.8 minutes per game. Earlier this month, however, he said he did not regret signing with the Hornets in free agency.
