Rochester Knighthawks defenseman Paul Dawson pummeled New England Black Wolves defenseman Bill O'Brien in a fight during Saturday's National Lacrosse League game, then posed for a selfie from the penalty box.

The Knighthawks, who have won the past three NLL championships and five overall, won the game 14–6 in Rochester. The "highlight," however, might've been the fight between Dawson and O'Brien that led to Dawson's selfie.

The fight should've been even—Dawson is listed at 6'5", 230 pounds, while O'Brien is listed at 6'4", 235 pounds—but for whatever reason, Dawson won by a landslide.

Take a look, via the Knighthawks' official YouTube account:

Just brutal. Here's how Dawson's selfie went down—credit to the perisistent fan for banging on the penalty-box glass to get Dawson's attention. From Rochesterhomepage.net:

The most surreal moment of the evening came ten minutes into the second quarter. With the score 5-2, New England's Bill O'Brien dropped gloves with Paul Dawson. The two exchanged blows with Dawson landing some major right hands, dropping O'Brien.

While Dawson sat in the penalty box, knocked on the glass to grab a selfie. After a few knocks, Dawson looked over and posed for the photo.

Selfie sticks are a 'nuisance,' will be banned from Wimbledon
