The sports world welcomes President Barack Obama to Twitter

President Barack Obama finally joined Twitter on Monday with a brand-new @POTUS account, and the sports world was quick to welcome him.
There already was a @BarackObama account on Twitter, but that one is mainly run by staff. And it only seemed fair that since Michelle Obama has both @MichelleObama and @FLOTUS Twitters, her husband should get his own presidential account as well.
One of the first things the president did on his new account was follow his favorite sports teams, aka all of Chicago's major professional teams except the Cubs.
The Cubs weren't exactly thrilled with that, but President Obama got some warm welcomes from others around the sports world.
