Was Duke center Jahlil Okafor's NBA draft future determined through ping pong balls Tuesday, hours before the the draft lottery?

The likely top-two pick in next month's draft played pong (no beer) as part of a Bleacher Report video and eventually selected the New York Knicks as his destination.

Okafor started with six cups labeled with NBA teams and threw a ping-pong ball into them one-by-one, with each cup he hit eliminating the team on the cup. When he reached the end, the Knicks were the last cup standing.

"I'm ready to team up with Carmelo and try to win an NBA championship," he said in a mock interview.

Before you accuse Okafor of rigging the game to send him to New York, consider that he shot only 51% from the free-throw line in his one season at Duke.

Either Okafor or Kentucky's Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to be the first pick in the draft. The draft order will be determined at Tuesday night's lottery.
