Wife of Redskins QB RGIII gives birth to their first child

Robert Griffin III is now a dad.

The Washington Redskins quarterback and his wife Rebecca Liddicoa welcomed their first child, daughter Reese Ann Griffin, on Thursday. Reese weighs in at 7 pounds and 9 ounces, according to the proud father.

RGIII announced Rebecca's pregnancy back in February and did not reveal the gender of the baby at the time. Griffin and Liddicoa got married back in July 2013.

"May 21, 2015 has forever changed our lives for the better!" Griffin wrote on Facebook on Thursday, adding hashtags such as "#MomRockedIt" and "#YesWeCriedAndByWeItMeansMe."
