A Tampa Bay radio DJ has combined clever wordplay, a loyalty to the city's NHL team and a lack of auto-tune to record a song that parodies Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk." The results are about what you'd expect.

The ditty, called "Uptown Puck" (get it?) and sang by Wild 94.1 DJ Orlando Davis, waxes lyrical about the Lightning. It spread across the Internet Wednesday, becoming a sort of impromptu team playoff anthem.

"Tyler Johnson skating through ya (oooh), Kucherov can do ya (oooh), Palat’s got skills to move ya (ooooh), The Uptown Puck gon’ give it to ya," Davis croons.

Look for the Lightning to blast this anthem hard if they win Wednesday night's Game 3 of their Eastern Conference playoff series against the New York Rangers.
