A screaming Westbrook was revealed as the NBA LIVE 16 cover athlete on Tuesday, a week after the series' top competitor, NBA2K16, unveiled a cover featuring James Harden, Steph Curry and Anthony Davis.

EA Sports vice president of marketing Anthony Stevenson says Westbrook is the perfect personality for this year's game, reports Examiner.com.

"Russell Westbrook is a player who can do it all, and we can’t imagine a better fit for the cover of NBA LIVE 16NBA LIVE 16 is all about self-expression, and who better embodies that than Westbrook, both on and off the court?"

Westbrook is following in the footsteps of his teammate and 2014 NBA MVP Kevin Durant, who graced the cover of NBA2K15.
