Amy Poehler stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live's Game Night on Tuesday night to promote her role in the upcoming Pixar film Inside Out, and while she was there she talked about her days as a Saturday Night Live cast member.

The Parks and Recreation star posits that the best SNL hosts are always athletes because they are more prepared to take direction than actors and actresses, and points out that Derek Jeter is accustomed to situations more stressful than late night sketch comedy.

Poehler also says that she feels compelled to root for the Cavaliers in this year's NBA Finals as she once got a piggy back ride from LeBron James when he was hosting the show, which is just about the best reason to root for anyone.

Poehler also talks about her career as an athlete, and how she excelled at on-field chatter, even when her skills began to falter.
