Mean Girls quote starts NFC South GIF war on Twitter
The Buccaneers started a massive GIF war on Twitter on Wednesday between all the teams of the NFC South.
It began innocently enough with Tampa Bay retweeting their home stadiums account and tacking on a Mean Girls quote.
The Falcons saw this and quickly responded with a Mean Girls screen reminding their rivals to "stop trying to make fetch happen," and from there a full scale battle broke out, eventually drawing in the Panthers and Saints before it was all said and done.
In the end the clips covered everything from Ace Ventura to Rugrats with a special appearance from The Rock before the teams agreed to save their energy for when they meet this fall.
Hopefully the NFL will work GIF battles into the tiebreakers for division winners before the 2015 season.
