Maple Leafs beat Mets, according to a New York TV station

Friday June 19th, 2015

The Mets took on the Blue Jays on Thursday and fell 7–1, but when New York's CBS 2 went to show the score it swapped the Maple Leafs in for Toronto's MLB team.

It is an innocent enough mistake and happens with some frequency, but the Maple Leafs Twitter account noticed and decided to have a little fun.

The team tweeted out the screenshot along with a wonderful Simpsons reference from Kwik-E-Mart owner Apu's brief tenure as a fan of the Mets.
