Of all the wonderful things about the city of Philadelphia, the most wonderful may be its culinary masterpiece the Philly cheesesteak, and on a recent rip to the City of Brotherly Love, the Brewers bullpen catcher Marcus Hanel decided to enjoy as many as he could.

Of all the wonderful things about the city of Philadelphia, the most wonderful may be its culinary masterpiece, the Philly cheesesteak.

On a recent trip to the City of Brotherly Love, Brewers bullpen catcher Marcus Hanel decided to enjoy as many of the local delicacy as he could, it turns out Hanel has quite an appetite, because by the time the team finished its series on Thursday night, he had polished off a shocking 23 cheesesteaks.

With a pace of just under six cheesesteaks a day, Hanel blew by the three day record by eating 18 of the sandwiches, before setting the new high water mark for a four day series at 23.

After all of that meat and cheese, you would think Hanel would be laying off the eating challenges for a while, but you would be wrong, as the catcher said he has his eye on a new popsicle record next.
