Then and Now: Darrelle Revis in 2015, Joe Namath in 1965

A quick look at how things have changed between Joe Namath's 1965 cover and Darrelle Revis's recreation.

With Darrelle Revis set to headline a new era for the New York Jets this season, Sports Illustrated's cover this week plays homage to the Jets’ glory days.

For this week’s issue, SI took Revis to New York and Miami to recreate two iconic moments: Broadway Joe Namath’s “Football Goes Show Biz” cover from 1965 and Namath's poolside Super Bowl III guarantee at the Playhouse banquet hall.

Of course, much has changed from 1965, when Namath’s picture in Times Square adorned the cover of SI. Let’s take a quick look back.
