QB announces Texas commitment with ‘Hook ’Em’ baby photo

Each year finds high school recruits using more and more creative ways to announce their commitments, like dramatic, private jet-filled videos, or holding up live alligators.
A three-star quarterback recruit out of Austin has announced that he will be staying close to home by joining the Texas Longhorns after he graduates in 2017 by showing his recruitment began long before he ever took a snap.
Sam Ehlinger tweeted out his decision to join Texas along with a photo of him as baby holding up the team’s famed Hook ’Em Horns hand signal.
