Rival fans fly ‘Cheaters look up’ banner over Patriots’ camp

Thursday July 30th, 2015

Patriots training camp opened on Thursday and the team was almost immediately pranked by a group of Jets fans, who purchased a banner to fly over the team's practice, reading “CHEATERS LOOK UP! @JETSFANMEDIA.”

The prank is elegant in its simplicity, and shows Jets fans’ using their previous experience in airplane banners, a tactic which they used as part of their eventually successful campaign to have general manager John Idzik fired.

The banner had its maximum desired effect, as the camp was filled with fans who nearly busted down the gates to support the reigning Super Bowl Champions earlier on Thursday.
