When the Blue Jays set out to acquire David Price from the Tigers, the team was not expecting the biggest hurdle in getting him to Toronto to be a flat tire.

The recently traded ace was driving his Mercedes-Benz to his new hometown on Friday for a press conference welcoming him to the Blue Jays when a blown tire held up his progress.

Price detailed the ordeal on his Twitter account, adding that the troubles were compounded by some gastrointestinal distress he was experiencing when he got the flat.

Price did get something for his troubles though, as the Blue Jays granted the pitcher his wish for a locker full of popcorn.
