Before the Packers began their training camp, Eddie Lacy got in some unconventional cross training when he went to the Paul Bunyan Northwood’s Lumberjack Show in Wisconsin.

Lacy was joined by two elite-level lumberjacks in Shana Verstegen and Cassidy Scheer, who each have earned six world championships in various lumberjack disciplines.

Together the pair walked Lacy through events like log rolling, axe throwing and tree climbing, which the Green Bay running back calls “by far one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.”

The video is part of Gatorade’s beat-the-heat series, which preaches the importance of proper hydration, especially when exerting yourself in the summer heat.
