Jets veterans tape up rookie Lorenzo Mauldin's locker

New York Jets veterans left a surprise for rookie Lorenzo Mauldin back at his locker.

NFL training camp is a time for meeting new teammates, getting in shape for the season and fine-tuning the playbook so every team is ready to go in week one.

It's also a time for rookie hazing. New York Jets third-round pick Lorenzo Mauldin found this out the hard way, as the linebacker entered the locker room Thursday to this scene:

​This seems like a lot of effort from the veterans? Maybe that tape is just really sticky. But wait, there's more!

Mauldin wasn't the only rookie locker "victim" today. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees had his own fun with the team's rookies:
