Mike Babcock left his position as head coach of the Red Wings this off-season as he and the team were unable to agree on a contract extension, with the coach eventually taking the vacant Maple Leafs gig.

Babcock’s former players in Detroit have found a way to keep the fiery coach in mind though, as Johan Franzen has had custom Babcock sheets made for teammate Gustav Nyquist.

Babcock coached the Red Wings for a decade, winning a Stanley Cup with the team and making the playoffs each season of his tenure.
