Report: Jon Stewart to host WWE SummerSlam

Jon Stewart is returning to the WWE ring for the first time since his kick on heavyweight champion Seth Rollins in March.

Former Daily show host Jon Stewart will return to the WWE ring for the first time since March as the host of Sunday's SummerSlam in Brooklyn, according toUSA Today's Brian Truitt. 

Stewart concluded his 16-year run as the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central on Aug. 6.

In March, Stewart made an appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw and landed a kick below the belt on wrestler Seth Rollins after a Twitter feud and appearance on his late night show.

Rollins will face U.S. champion John Cena on Sunday in a winner-take-all title clash.
