The First Certified Running Dog

Congrats to Klinger, who graduated from the Guiding Eyes for the Blind school in Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and is the the only dog to have been trained through the school’s Running Guides pilot program. Klinger spent six months training and logged over 200 miles to earn his degree. He will soon start living with his new handler, a 48-year-old marine vet who is legally blind from Retinitis Pigmentosa.
