The Dodgers sent Jake Arrieta the pitching rubber from his no-hitter

Tuesday September 1st, 2015

It's always nice when people do nice things for each other.

So it was nice to see the L.A. Dodgers being great sports after Cubs ace Jake Arrieta no-hit them over the weekend.

According to a tweet from Arrieta, the Dodgers sent him the pitching rubber from the game, along with other in-game memento from his magnificent performance. No word on what they actually sent but we can assume they were of the same ilk. Pretty cool that Arrieta will be able to further commemorate his first career no-hitter, either way.

One thing we know he doesn't need is pajamas. Carry on.
