VInce Wilfork took on Carli Lloyd in a field goal kicking contest

The season finale of Hard Knocks featured an intense battle, but not for a starting job or a final roster spot. Instead the war was waged between Vince Wilfork and USWNT star Carli Lloyd for field-goal-kicking supremacy.

Field Goal Contest?!
Yup. It happened. #HardKnocks http://t.co/tWcUh5M5SK
Wilfork and Lloyd lined up kicks from 25 and 35 yards before scheduled meetings, and the defensive lineman’s nerves about the health of his hamstrings forced him to call a draw with the Houston Dash midfielder.
As the match played out on HBO, the competitors engaged in some friendly trash talk on Twitter.
