Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith sent a military family home with $30,000 by making a half-court shot.

Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith sent one military member home from Monday night’s Wine & Gold scrimmage $30,000 richer when he sunk a shot from half-court. 

Smith buried the shot with ease (and then busted out his signature celebration, of course). 

​If there’s one guy on the Cavs you want taking that shot, it’s probably the guy who pulls up from way too deep on a regular basis.
