Rick Ross still wants to buy a part of the Miami Dolphins

Rick Ross wants to be part-owner of the Miami Dolphins.

Rick Ross is a Miami legend.

Sure, when I'm singing along to his songs I have to drop the LeBrons like they’re curse words. But Rozay is serious about repping his city: The man has a Miami Heat tattoo on his face

So when Rick Ross tells TMZ Sports he wants to be a part-owner of the Miami Dolphins, I want to know what the hold up is. It’s not like owner Stephen Ross hasn’t welcomed celebrity owners before—Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan and Jimmy Buffett all own a tiny portion of the team.

And if you think Ross isn’t a businessman, he owns NINE Wingstop locations around the country. Stephen Ross could surely use the good publicity in South Florida, where he’s known as an absentee owner. Make the Teflon Don the face of the franchise, put lemon pepper wings at the concession stands and Dolphins fans can forget what a disaster this season has been.
