A Pirates fan named Andrew Broadwater was so taken with his team’s baseball prowess in August that he got a tattoo celebrating Pittsburgh’s World Series championship before the team had even clinched a spot in the postseason.

The Pirates did make the playoffs, of course, but it was the wild-card play-in for the third consecutive year, and this time they were felled by Jake Arrieta and the Cubs, meaning Broadwater had to think fast.

So the recently tattooed member of #BucsNation grabbed a marker and made an adjustment, hoping that next season victory will come to PNC Park.
