James Harden did whatever the internet asked, and it got weird

Friday October 9th, 2015

James Harden has made good on his promise to put himself at the mercy of the internet, teaming up with Foot Locker for a high stakes shootaround with requests written on each ball for the guard.

If Harden missed the shot then he had to fulfill the request, from taking selfies with a camel to throwing a party for veterans in Salem, Va.

The video is the product of Foot Locker’s Play My Tweet campaign, which solicited fan requests over Twitter for the Rockets star, with Harden promising to do anything that fans asked, except for shaving his beard.

Harden is a good sport throughout the ordeal, frequently completing the task even if he made the shot, such as meeting a young fan, or visiting some local teachers.

The NBA2K16 star even buys a fan a car, although when he sees the $900 jalopy they picked out as a gift, he decides to just give the money instead.
