Watch a 100-mph fastball get cut in half with a samurai sword

Wednesday October 14th, 2015

Someone hitting a 100-mph fastball is an extremely impressive feat, but watching someone cut one in half with a samurai sword is precisely the kind of thing for which the internet was made.

Julian Edelman’s Reddit AMA yields some amazing results

The radar gun in the video shows the pitch is traveling at 161 kmh, which is almost exactly 100 miles per hour, and to make the feat even more impressive the swordsman keeps his weapon sheathed until the last possible moment.

Somebody need to talk Kyle Schwarber into taking a few cuts with a broadsword this off-season, just to see what happens.
