Marshawn Lynch, Starbucks selling Beast Mode Frappuccino

Marshawn Lynch and Starbucks have teamed up on a new drink called the Beast Mode Frappuccino.

The Lynch-created drink is a double mocha Frappucino with mint and cream, topped with a berry drizzle and matcha sprinkle that also includes a scoop of protein powder, which led the Seattle running back to comment, “I’d drink this before a workout. You could get your buff on with this.”

Lynch was hands on in the creation of the drink, heading into the Starbucks test lab at the Seattle-based company’s headquarters for a process captured in a video that can be seen on Starbucks’ website.

The drink can be found at participating Starbucks in Washington state and Oakland-areas, with 24 cents from the sale of each beverage going to Fam 1st Family Foundation, a charity founded by the running back and Bills quarterback Josh Johnson in 2011.

The Seahawks and Starbucks have worked together before, with the popular coffee and Norah Jones CD retailer releasing a special blue and green drink for the team’s 2015 Super Bowl run.
