Mavericks celebrate win over Clippers with lots of emojis
The Mavericks hosted the Clippers on Wednesday night and fans reacted to DeAndre Jordan about as poorly as one would expect, raining down boos on the center who had briefly agreed to join the team over the off-season, before changing his mind in one of the summer’s finest soap operas.
Dallas got its revenge with a 118-108 win over Los Angeles, and then relished in the victory by recalling the flurry of emojis that highlighted the Jordan free agency saga.
In the grand scheme of the rivalry between the two Western Conference teams, the tweet is a pretty harmless jab, especially when compared to the shot fired by former DeAndre Jordan BFF Chandler Parsons after the game.
Chandler Parsons, asked if DeAndre drama is done: "He's not a priority to us, and by the looks of their team he's not to them either."— Tim MacMahon (@espn_macmahon) November 12, 2015
The teams have split their first two games this season and will won't face each other again until March.
