Ravens’ Justin Tucker calls on his opera training to sing ‘Ave Maria’

In addition to being an NFL kicker, Justin Tucker is also a decent vocalist who once trained to be an opera singer, and the Ravens starter called on that skill when he performed a beautiful rendition of “Ave Maria.”

The performance took place Thursday night at a concert of Christmas music for Catholic Charities in Baltimore, and Tucker delivered on the 190-year-old melody.

Tucker has also used his golden voice for some slightly less lofty works, singing a jingle for a mid-Atlantic coffee chain earlier this season.

The fourth year Baltimore kicker is 24-for-25 this season on attempts from inside 50 yards, and has yet to miss an extra point attempt in his career.
