The New York Mets team calendar appears to feature quite the error regarding the team’s star pitcher and the team’s 2016 calendar.

As D.J. Short of Rotoworld, the recent recipient of a 2016 Mets calendar, pointed out on Twitter, his new acquisition features a photo of “Jason” deGrom, New York’s formerly long-haired, blossoming ace pitcher.

For those keeping score at home, his name is Jacob, and he was the 2014 NL Rookie of the Year and made the All-Star game last season.

It is important to remember that the team itself may not be directly responsible for the production of said calendars.

In stranger news, the calendar does not feature the ever-popular wily veteran Bartolo Colon.
