Ex-NBA player Cliff Robinson is getting into the marijuana business

Thursday January 21st, 2016

Cliff Robinson knows a thing or two about marijuana, so he’s going to start selling it. Legally, of course.

Robinson, nicknamed Uncle Cliffy, was suspended three times in his NBA career for violating the league’s marijuana policy. Now he’s opening a marijuana growing operation in Portland, Ore., and calling himself Uncle Spliffy.

Recreational use of marijuana is legal in Oregon. It is currently sold at medical dispensaries and recreational stores will open next year.

There will be a marijuana convention, the 2016 Cannabis Collaborative Conference, early next month in Portland and Uncle Spliffy himself is the keynote speaker.
