Cam Newton warms up in cleats covered with his teammates’ names

For the second week in a row, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton made a splash with his pregame attire.

For the second week in a row, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton made a splash with his pregame attire. 

Before last week’s win over the Seahawks, Newton warmed up in a T-shirt with a picture of him and his son dabbing. On Sunday, Newton took the field wearing cleats with the names of his teammates.

It’s tough to make out the names on the left foot, but Jared Allen, who is out with a broken foot, has his name featured front and center on Newton’s right foot.
