NBA players are excited about Kendrick Lamar’s new album

The NBA is buzzing about Kendrick Lamar’s new album, untitled unmastered, which was released on Thursday night. That’s all thanks to Cavaliers stat LeBron James, who lobbied for Top Dawg Entertainment to drop the eight-track project.
“Yeah. That’s what they said. They said to thank me,” James said at practice on Friday. “So, appreciate it. You’re welcome.”
He was one of the first players to use his social media account to express his excitement over the album.
James wasn’t alone—several notable players from around the league are listening to and reviewing the album.
