Monday marks the 10th anniversary of the very first tweet and to celebrate the social network that has changed the way fans and athletes interact, Extra Mustard has rounded up the first attempts of notable athletes on the microblogging site.

The inaugural tweets range from intentionally funny (Kobe Bryant, Brandon McCarthy) to unintentionally funny (Mark Cuban) with lots of in between, so take a stroll down memory lane as some of sports biggest names give Twitter a shot for the first time.
