Here are some of the images that caught our eye on a day when North Carolina and Villanova advanced to Monday's national championship basketball game. Kennedy Meeks (3) and the Tar Heels won by double digits for the fifth time in this tournament.

Saturday's 83-66 win over Syracuse was the third time this season that Isaiah Hicks and the Tar Heels have defeated the Orange.

Marcus Paige and the Tar Heels missed 11 consecutive three-pointers at one point, but Paige finally connected on three long range shots in the second half to stop a Syracuse comeback.
