Ahead of Jackie Robinson Day on April 15, Adidas has unveiled special edition Jackie Robinson inspired cleats.
The shoes have newspaper-style headlines, and Robinson's retired “42” number is embroidered on the side.
The cleats are also made of heather wool, paying tribute to the old wool jerseys and caps that players in the 1940's wore. Pretty cool.
Fifteen games are scheduled for the 15th, starting with Rockies-Cubs at 2:20 p.m. ET and ending with Diamondbacks-Padres at 10:40 p.m.
